大陆动力学、盆地构造、断层带中的流体运移
科研成果1982-1985年从事东秦岭造山带蛇绿岩研究，
1985-1988年从事山东地体构造和郯庐断裂研究，
1989-1991年研究我国东南沿海碰撞造山带，
1995-1998年研究中国西北部侏罗系盆地构造和青藏高原羌塘盆地构造演化，
1991-2001年从事塔里木盆地西北缘构造特征研究，
1999-2002年研究大巴山和米仓山前的褶皱冲断构造。
2002年以来主持研究国家十五科技攻关项目二级专题—重点前陆盆地复杂构造解析。正式发表的学术论文60余篇，专著 3 本。
